Sadio Mane will play alongside 15 y/o, he was born in 2008

Sadio Mane, the star of Al Nassr, will compete opposite a wonderkid from Senegal who was selected and was born in 2008.

During the current international break, Senegal has two games. On September 9, they will host Rwanda in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualification match.

Three days later, they play Algeria in a friendly match; this time, there is a new face in the lineup.

Aliou Cisse unexpectedly signed Amara Diouf, a talent who only turned 15 in June.

The winger, who plays for Generation Foot and is from Pikine, a suburb of Dakar, shone in the Mohammed VI juvenile tournament earlier this year.

The team defeated Real Madrid en route to victory, and Diouf also shone during the Under 17 Africa Cup of Nations competition in April and May.

Senegal reached the finals for the first time in history, and captain Diouf, who was only 14 at the time, scored five goals to win the Golden Boot, shattering the previous record held by Victor Osimhen of Nigeria and Napoli.

He has now been quickly promoted to the senior team and, should he play, will do so as the country’s youngest-ever player.

Mohamed Sarr currently holds the record. On October 4, 2001, he participated in a 2-0 victory over Japan at the age of 17 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

Diouf will team up with players like Mane, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Pape Matar Sarr, Nicolas Jackson, and Idrissa Gana Gueye. He has been predicted to develop into a fantastic player.

Senegal, the tournament’s current champion after defeating Egypt in the previous edition, has already secured a spot in Ivory Coast along with Burkina Faso, South Africa, and Tunisia.
