Mbappe confused when he was watching France’ rugby game because he did not understand the rules

Kylian Mbappe and his French colleagues took a night off from their Euro 2024 qualifying schedule to see France launch their Rugby World Cup campaign in style, despite the fact that he appeared to be confused by the game.

The World Cup hosts began their competition with a 27-13 victory over New Zealand, which was witnessed by several members of the French football squad.

Mbappe was spotted in the audience with Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, and Dayot Upamecano, surrounded by delighted French fans over their rugby team’s performance.

Mbappe appeared to be enjoying himself while taking in the big occasion, albeit some of his facial expressions suggested he wasn’t entirely familiar with how the game is played.

Nonetheless, the PSG superstar celebrated with his French teammates at the Stade de France in Paris during the World Cup opener.

Mbappe and the rest of the French players who attended the game went to the locker room after the game to congratulate the team on their triumph.

The 24-year-old was part of the France team that defeated Ireland 2-0 in their last Euro 2024 qualifier, putting Didier Deschamps on track to qualify for next summer’s finals.

France won their fifth game in a row, with to goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Marcus Thuram.

They are scheduled to play Germany in a high-profile international friendly on Tuesday.
