‘I’m going to miss you a lot’ – Marco Verratti’ farewell to Mbappe and teammates

Kylian Mbappe, the star player for Paris Saint-Germain, said a heartfelt goodbye to Marco Verratti after the midfielder finalized his transfer to Al-Arabi in Qatar.

France’s rising sensation and PSG player Kylian Mbappe penned a heartfelt farewell note to former teammate Marco Verratti, who is leaving for Al-Arabi this summer.

After six seasons together in the PSG locker room, the 24-year-old attacker posted a touching tribute on social media for the outgoing Italian midfielder: An outstanding athlete and human being. Being by your side for so long has been a dream come true. You will always be remembered and appreciated for your time spent here. To my knowledge, one of the top players in the world. Mbappe thanked his friend in an Instagram post, writing, “I am going to miss you a lot.”

Verratti has been with PSG since 2012, therefore he is leaving after more than a decade. The 30-year-old played 276 times in the league for the Paris club, scoring seven times. At PSG, he was a part of nine league championships and one UCL final.
