Arsenal’s trip to Bournemouth in today’s Premier League game may be missing several key first-team players.
Training has been canceled this week for Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard.
Saka was kicked in the foot during last Sunday’s home draw with Tottenham, and Rice left with a back injury at halftime. Meanwhile, Martinelli and Trossard are also dealing with hamstring injuries.
On Wednesday, we beat Brentford 1-0 in the Carabao Cup, but we were without Fabio Vieira and William Saliba.
Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber are ruled out, therefore Mikel Arteta will have to make a final decision on his team before Friday night’s trip to Bournemouth.
Arteta stated, “[Rice] was not accessible [on Wednesday]. “He missed training because he had to leave the London derby early.
We’ll have more information on him today after our next session in an hour or two.
One more time: “[Martinelli] hasn’t trained. We need him back, and he’s not available at the time, but we want him back. In a same predicament [as Saka and Trossard].
They’re all swimming in the same ocean. The same thing happened to [Saliba]. Fabio did not play in the most recent match. We do have a small number. That’s a huge sum, so we’ll have to assess the situation and make adjustments accordingly.
We’ve played a lot of games in the last two weeks, and we have a lot more coming up in the next seven to ten days, so I’m crossing my fingers that everyone stays healthy and is available. We’re going to need them, so here’s hoping for some positive news today.
Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Nketiah, Jesus
Injuries: Partey (groin), Timber (knee)
Doubts: Martinelli (hamstring), Rice (back), Saka (foot), Trossard (hamstring), Vieira
