Chelsea plan to bring in Serie A number 1 left-back to replace Marc Cucurella

Chelsea agreed to let Marc Cucurella leave in January 2024, and they hope to bring in Theo Hernandez in the opposite direction.

Coach Mauricio Pochettino recently used Levi Colwill, a young defender who plays left back and is a center defender. English players are used by the Argentine coach because Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella are not in good shape.

It’s possible that the Blues will move Marc Cucurella in January. They want 30 to 35 million pounds for him. When the former Brighton star is sold, the money will be used to buy new players. Chelsea agreed to let Marc Cucurella go, and they plan to bring in Theo Hernandez in the opposite way.

Theo Hernandez is the vice-captain of AC Milan right now and has a lot of power. He is also a starter for the French team that is going to Euro 2024. Hernandez is thought to be one of the best left-backs in Europe right now. He is fast and helps the attack a lot.

Coach Pochettino has talked about his plans to sign Theo Hernandez with president Todd Boehly and head of football David Barnard. Chelsea knows it won’t be easy for them to get what they want, but they will make an offer with a big fee.

This deal will cost Chelsea 80 million euros. They can raise the offer to 100 million euros if it is turned down. Milan also said at first in the summer of 2023 that they would not sell Sandro Tonali. They did agree, though, when Newcastle said they would spend 80 million euros on players.
