Inside the $2.4 M mansion of new NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo is riding high after guiding the Milwaukee Bucks to their first championship in a half-century.

Antetokounmpo — who has acquired the nickname “Greek Freak” — had a spectacular performance this week that only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson have ever done as their superstar forward, scoring 50 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks.

The internet went crazy over a two-year-old Kobe Bryant prophecy.

In a June 2019 tweet, the late Bryant prophesied that Antetokounmpo will not only win another MVP award, but would also win a championship soon.

“M.V.P. Greatness, my man.” 🙌🏾💪🏾 Next up: the championship. #MambaMentality,” Bryant tweeted.

Antetokounmpo, 26, purchased the house for $1.8 million (AUD$2.44 million) in 2018, two years after signing a four-year, $100 million (AUD$135.5 million) deal with the Bucks in 2016.

According to the listing, the home is described as “luxury living,” with wide rooms, an open-concept kitchen, and a family area that extends to the backyard.

A vaulted ceiling solarium with its own two-way fireplace is located on the main floor.

The main suite has two huge walk-in closets, a spacious spa bath with a walk-in shower, and a separate bath.

Upstairs, there are five more bedrooms and a bonus room with a loft.

A wet bar, game room, home theatre, wine cellar, workout room, pool, and separate heated garage are among the amenities.

Antetokounmpo was eligible for the NBA draft in 2013, and the Bucks selected him in the first round. At the age of 18, he made his NBA debut on October 13, 2013.

Antetokounmpo now had a decorated NBA resume after winning his first NBA title and being named NBA Finals MVP. He had previously earned the regular season MVP award twice, as well as the All-Star game MVP.

He has been named to the All-NBA First Team three times, Defensive Player of the Year once, and the league’s Most Improved Player once.
