During England’s victory against Belgium this weekend, Marcus Rashford showed off a really remarkable pair of Nike Superfly boots. They were given to the MBE star in recognition of his outstanding work off the field and to commemorate Black History Month.

The first thing you’ll notice is the “I AM THE FUTURE OF” hit along the side of the boot. This is in addition to statements offered by the families Rashford has helped through his food poverty initiative, families who symbolize people who face additional challenges in life. There’s also a Mohammed Ali quotation that goes well with Rashford’s off-field work: “recognize how every moment of our journey is an important part of the growth of our soul.”

This is a limited edition release made specifically for Rashford, with no news on what he will do with them next. Similar blackout Superflys are available, but they lack the personalized features present on Rashford’s pair. If you want to express your own vital message, a blackout pair and a white sharpie might be the way to go!
