The City team left for Leipzig for our most recent Champions League match.

Pep Guardiola and his team were delayed leaving for our second Group G match against RB Leipzig due to bad weather in Germany.

Both teams have gotten off to strong starts in the Champions League. City defeated Red Star Belgrade 3-1 at the Etihad, while our Bundesliga rivals triumphed against Young Boys in Switzerland by the same score.

We will play each other for the sixth time in the previous three years, with City emerging victorious twice and drawing once.

Summertime acquisition Josko Gvardiol will make his first appearance back for the team, and Rodrigo will be included in the City squad despite missing Europe due to suspension.

When we left for our first Champions League match on European territory after winning the trophy on that historic night in Istanbul the previous season, the team was in high spirits.
