“Gotta sell some shoes” …Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to start working in sales before the start of the 2023-24 season. For obvious reasons, the Greek superstar seemed giddy during the Milwaukee Bucks’ Media Day. It’s only been a few days since the Bucks announced the addition of Damian Lillard to their squad, propelling the Midwestern team to the top of the league’s food chain. The Greek Freak, on the other hand, seemed more interested in selling his shoes than discussing their chances of winning it all in his 11th season in the league.
When he’s not dribbling the basketball, Giannis Antetokounmpo always has a joke up his sleeve to delight everyone. The Bucks’ Media Day festivities are usually entertaining for fans, with Antetokounmpo amusing everyone with his dad jokes and humorous hijinks. This year, the Greek celebrity was back with his bizarre antics, feverishly trying to sell his ‘cheap $1000’ shoes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is doing everything he can to sell some shoes.
The Nike Zoom Freak 5 basketball shoes for Giannis Antetokounmpo are now available. And the proprietor of the line is doing an excellent job of informing people about it. With all eyes on the Bucks franchise following the Dame trade, Giannis is taking advantage of the occasion to entice fans to purchase some sneakers for the high price of $1000.
“Zoom Freak 5s. Go get you some. You wanna be a real baller? Go get you some. They’re cheap too. They’re only a $1000. Aye man, you gotta do what you gotta do, you gotta sell shoes now,” the 28-year-old rambled on, sitting against the white backdrop of a studio set.
Trolling is second nature to the Greek Freak. His $1000 comments are especially amusing considering his shoe line is well-known for being reasonably priced. After his stellar performance as a salesman on Bucks’ Media Day, fans are going to be eager to put on his boots.
Giannis has done this before.
Giannis has long been known as a jokester in the league. He did the same thing during last year’s Media Day. The two-time NBA MVP approached everyone in the building to promote his sneakers.
This year, the 2021 NBA Champion is even more keen to increase sales. However, winning the 2024 Championship is the finest chance for him to advertise his kicks.
