The home locker room at Denver’s Ball Arena is a sight to behold. MARCA was able to tinker around and find a variety of fascinating things. From Nikola Jokic’s passion for horses to Jamal Murray’s admiration for Bruce Lee. Did we also mention a collection of more than 80 sneakers?

Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets’ two-time MVP, also brings his passion for horses to the locker room. The most prominent display in his locker belongs to his fortunate horse. Joker, a horse chariot racing enthusiast, has a complete briddle and a competition ribbon that reads Subotica (a French thoroughbred horse) down the side of his locker. He can’t physically bring him inside, but he’s there in spirit.

Another intriguing feature is a printed Bruce Lee statement on crumpled paper stuck to co-star Jamal Murray’s locker. “Knowing is not enough; we must apply,” the saying says. We must do, not just be willing.” Murray undoubtedly lives by the kung-fu legend’s phrase when he gives it his all on the basketball court.

Other information are revealed in our film, which was shot after the NBA Finals’ Game 1 triumph. A printed image of the NBA officiating team for Thursday’s game. Not to mention an infinite supply of basketball sneakers, some neatly tucked away and others piled high.
