“I wanted to look more serious,” Nikola Jokic explains why he began dressing up for games.
Nikola Jokic commented on his clothing choices and how they effect his brand.
Nikola Jokic is one of the most endearing NBA talents, and it shows not only on the field but also off it. The two-time MVP recently adjusted his fashion style to match the elegance with which he plays every night. In addition to his excellent performances, the Denver Nuggets center has received positive feedback from the fashion world. Jokic’s key mantra these days appears to be “dress well, feel good, and play well.”
“Now I’m 27-28 years old, maybe I wanted to look more serious.” With his 28th birthday approaching, Jokic revealed.
The brand’s fashion sense
Aside from the fact that a person feels better when he is well-trained and takes care of himself, the 27-year-old center observes that there are several benefits to doing so. Although we should not judge a book by its cover, it is not uncommon for us to form judgments based solely on appearance. And Jokic wishes to make his physical appearance more representative and identifiable.
“Everyone perceives you differently, and everyone approaches you differently.” At the end of the day, perhaps a more significant sponsorship contract will come your way simply because of your appearance and because you seem professional and represent yourself correctly. “I believe it is a positive change in my life.”In an interview with Arena Sport TV, Jokic revealed “The way you come to the game helps both with the brand and with you, especially since I have already won the award (MVP) twice.”
Put on a successful outfit
The Joker takes the adage “dress for success” very seriously. And this is demonstrated by the fact that he recently reflected on the attire style of most players in today’s league. Jokic believes that the players are dressed inappropriately and that his appearance reflects that he came to work like any other “regular” employee. This earnestness and professionalism may also be seen in the way he plays.
Nikola Jokic is also the MVP favorite, scoring 24.9 points per game, 11.4 rebounds per game, 10.1 assists per game, and shooting an extraordinarily efficient 62.8% from the field. Jokic is on pace to earn his third consecutive MVP award, joining the ranks of legends such as Larry Bird, Bill Russell, and Wilt Chamberlain.
