Kevin Durant is one of the NBA’s finest players, but the basketball star is unhappy with his current team, the Brooklyn Nets.
Today, the 33-year-old gave the team’s owner an ultimatum: dismiss both head coach Steve Nash and general manager Bobby Marks or trade him to another team.
The Washington native joined the Nets in 2019 after winning two championships with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018.
In 2014, he was crowned the Oklahoma City Thunder’s league MVP.
Despite not having the success he desired with the Nets, he signed a four-year, $194 million contract with the organization.
With that kind of money, he’s been able to invest in a variety of enterprises through his company Thirty Five Ventures.
He’s also amassed one of the most costly automobile collections of any NBA player.
In fact, his garage is the sixth most costly of any athlete’s, priced at $4,369,741.
Here’s a look at Kevin Durant’s $4.3 million automobile collection.
Ford GT40 1966
Believe it or not, this single automobile is worth more than half of Durant’s whole collection.
Kevin Durant owns the automobile constructed to beat Ferrari at the 24 Hours of LeMans, which is estimated to be worth $2.5 million.
However, we have yet to see any images of which GT40 is his.
Standing at a reputed 6-foot-10 – but most likely closer to 7ft due to his tendency to underestimate his height – we assume KD would struggle to squeeze inside the tiny vintage racer.
More than likely, he purchased the car as an investment because it is one of only 105 ever produced.
Aventador Roadster Lamborghini
Durant’s Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, at up to $450,000, is one of the few current supercars in his collection.
It has a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces up to 690hp depending on the version.
Given that LeBron James has one, the Aventador Roadster must be a popular among NBA players.
It’s without a doubt one of the hottest supercars in Kevin Durant’s collection.
Phantom Rolls-Royce
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the ultimate multi-millionaire vehicle, so it’s no surprise that Kevin Durant is said to own one.
It starts at $460,000 and is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12.
However, because it was designed for comfort, Durant is more likely to ride in the back than drive.
Californian Ferrari
The Ferrari California, which was introduced in 2009, would have been one of the first cars Durant purchased during his NBA career after being picked second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2007.
Durant’s California is a pre-facelift model, which means it will be driven by a magnificent 4.3-liter V8 producing 453hp.
It cost roughly $200,000 when new.
Today’s values are in the $60-80k range.
