Jimmy Butler’s emo vibe created quite a stir at media day.
Butler arrived, his face pierced and his hair long.
Butler appeared to be his regular self on Wednesday.
He spoke with reporters about a number of topics.
When asked how many regular season games he aimed to play, Butler gave a detailed response. Ten, he said.
Regarding the trades of Damian Lillard to Milwaukee and Jrue Holiday to Boston, questions were posed to Butler.
Not at all, said Butler. I’m glad for those two guys. I’m even more enraged that he joined Adrian Griffin’s club in Milwaukee. Everyone is aware of my dislike for Adrian Griffin from my time in Chicago. I’m glad for Milwaukee since it means we have a chance to improve as well.
After what transpired the previous season, Butler was questioned about if he felt resentment.
“No chip on my shoulder,” stated Butler. As a basketball team, we are good. People prepare to defeat us; it’s a show of deference.
Butler expressed his admiration for Nikola Jovic’s growing confidence as a result of his summertime international play.
He’s starting to realize what a fantastic basketball player he is and how much he belongs in this league and on the international scene, according to Butler. And he grinned.
According to Butler, Jovic has been a member of the team for perhaps six or seven years.
