During his show in Los Angeles on Monday, Drake paid tribute to LeBron James.

During his L.A. concert on Monday night, the 36-year-old delivered a special salute to the Lakers superstar, who was there with his 18-year-old son Bronny James.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the NBA player, 38, and Bronny came inside the Crypto.com Arena with Drake, who took them through the crowd and to their VIP seats before hugging them.

Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, offered a touching tribute to the NBA legend once he arrived on stage.

“That same guy showed up to a release party for a mixtape called So Far Gone in 2009, when nobody believed in anything I had going on,” the One Dance rapper claimed of the sports star.

“He came all the way to Toronto, Canada, to support me when I was trying to figure out how I could live my dreams,” Drake concluded. So tonight, no matter how many years have passed, it’s an honor to be inside his building while we’re both still alive. Tonight I have to give this building justice. So I come to Los Angeles, and I assure you that I’m about to offer you everything I’ve got.”

LeBron later headed to Instagram to provide a sneak peek of the after-party from the concert. He posted an image of numerous bottles of booze, then in the early morning hours, he posted a tale with a black background, stating, “No excuses. Just get to work. “Say no more.”

The father-son trip comes only months after Bronny was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during basketball practice at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
