Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker just made a great joke about his Book 1 sneakers on X (Twitter). Nike said last month that Booker’s first trademark shoes will be available in spring 2024. In the weeks since, Booker has been seen at a Drake performance in Phoenix. Drake arrived at the ceremony in Booker’s orange Book 1.

The rapper has released his new album For All the Dogs. A “Celtics moral support page” on Twitter initially joked that Booker must be listening to the new record and flexing his recent accomplishments while looking in the mirror. The 26-year-old laughed and said he had no idea how they knew what he was up to.

The rapper also praised the footwear on Instagram, saying they made him feel like he was flying. Now, just 31 days after the incident, a fan claims that Booker should be in front of the mirror while listening to Drake’s new album:

“I just know Devin Booker is listening to the new Drake album and flexing in the mirror right now.”

While Booker was obviously joking, the last two weeks have been nothing short of exciting for the 26-year-old. Not only did Booker see the introduction of his first-ever branded sneakers, but he also witnessed none other than Drake wound up in his shoes during the show.
