The Milwaukee Bucks went all-in on former Portland Trail Blazers standout Damian Lillard in a deal.
By combining Lillard with none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo, they effectively produced one of the best duos in the NBA.
The dynamic duo’s major advantage is that they both have diverse playing styles.
While Giannis is a constant danger in the paint, Lillard is recognized for his three-point shooting ability.
Antetokounmpo is well aware of this, as he detailed the Bucks’ game plan for Lillard on the team’s official Twitter account.
“We’re gonna let Dame be Dame,” Antetokounmpo stated.
Antetokounmpo has a simple response to the Bucks’ Lillard plan.
Lillard has been renowned as a prolific scorer throughout his career, but he can also be a playmaker.
The 33-year-old averaged 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game in 2022-23.
Based on Lillard’s numbers and what Antetokounmpo can do on the court, the Bucks have a legitimate shot to win it all this season.
With a 58-24 record, the Bucks were the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference last season.
The Bucks, on the other hand, were completely overwhelmed by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.
They were eliminated in five games, which resulted in significant roster changes for the upcoming season.
