A place of honorAt the Celtics’ training camp for 2023, small forward Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics is making an impression on the city’s future stars. He said, “Nothing’s easy and he understands that,” in reference to All NBA forward (and occasionally workout companion) Jayson Tatum’s mindset for the next season. He has endured challenging playoff journeys but hasn’t succeeded.

Tatum also discussed the impact of new assistant coach Sam Cassell, calling the 2008 Boston champion one of the loudest people he has ever met.
