Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford will be back to his devastating best shortly, based on his hard work and talent in training.
During Ten Hag’s first season in command, our homegrown no.10 had the best season of his career, scoring 30 goals and providing 11 assists in 56 games across all competitions.
Rashford was later elected our Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year by fans, and he was also named our Players’ Player of the Year in recognition of his enormous contribution.
United and Rashford are working hard every day to improve on previous results, as the side continues to deal with a slew of injuries in important positions.
Ten Hag is also certain that progress is being made across the board.
The boss, in particular, is adamant that Marcus will soon shine again, and he has been impressed by his efforts at Carrington, as he explained to MUTV’s Mark Sullivan on Friday afternoon.
When asked about Rashford’s value to the team, Ten Hag replied: “Absolutely. And, also, I am sure that he will be back on track.
“I see him in training performing so well so I think that before long, he will be back on track. He will make a lot of goals for us and he will be so very important for us.
“Once we find our rhythm, once the team finds its rhythm, it is also easier for him.”
Rashford and the Reds are now preparing for Saturday’s crucial Premier League match against Fulham.
