Bruno Fernandes earned his 200th Premier League appearance for Manchester United on Saturday, as the Reds overcame Fulham 1-0.
Fernandes’ stoppage-time goal proved decisive in the West London derby, as our no.8 blasted beyond Cottagers goalkeeper Bernd Leno from the edge of the penalty area to give the Reds all three points.
It was an appropriate way for the United captain to commemorate his historic day, on which he was also voted our official Man of the Match by the fans.
Erik ten Hag selected the Portugal international first-team captain ahead of the 2023/24 season after he joined United from Sporting Club in January 2020.
Fernandes, an influential figure both on and off the field, has now scored 67 goals for the Reds while also posting 57 assists.
He is presently seventh among Ten Hag’s current squad’s leading appearance-makers, closing in on sixth-place defender Jonny Evans, who has 205 appearances.
Bruno is making his imprint on the pitch once more this season, having started every single one of our Premier League and UEFA Champions League games thus far.

Bruno has won two Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Awards since his arrival at United in 2020, and he is only getting better.
Fernandes has also been named Premier League Player of the Month four times and Premier League Goal of the Month three times.
He has also won nine Player of the Month accolades at the club and has given loving fans innumerable memories.
