After Manchester United came from behind to win all three Premier League points at Craven Cottage, Bruno Fernandes emphasized the camaraderie among his teammates.
Bruno was the winner for the visitors in a closely contested match this time around, following in the footsteps of Alejandro Garnacho at Craven Cottage last season.
Bruno Fernandes, who was making his 200th appearance for the team, set off wild scenes while scoring a crucial goal that helped us get back on track.
After the victory, Bruno expressed his happiness to our MUTV cameras and clarified that the most important thing was to return to Manchester with three crucial points.
After the game at Craven Cottage, Fernandes told Zarah Connolly, “It was really good.”
“Obviously we wanted to win in a different way. We could have created more chances. The last pass, the last moment of when we reach the box, we didn’t always decide well.
But we got our win and we got our goal so that is the most important [thing],” he add.
Following back-to-back home losses, Erik ten Hag’s team needed to win in order to set themselves up for our crucial midweek matchup with FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League.
Bruno went on to discuss how gathering steam before that difficult test in Denmark can help the team perform better in the future.
The captain declared: “We have to build momentum, we have been talking about building momentum and we haven’t done it yet.
Now we know how important it is to get the three points in the Champions League and it will be a tough game because we have already played them at home.
They are well organised, [a] difficult team to go through, but we hope to get the three points there and we will do everything we can to get three points to go through there.”
