Florian Wirtz, a standout for Bayer Leverkusen, has reportedly been observed by Manchester City representatives.

Since solidifying his position as a crucial first-team player for Leverkusen over the past few seasons, the 20-year-old has emerged as one of the most promising prospects in Europe.

Since his professional début in May 2020, Wirtz has appeared in 118 games for the German club across all competitions, accumulating 29 goals and 39 assists.

Despite missing approximately nine months in 2022 due to a severe ACL injury, the attacking midfielder still managed to contribute to the team’s performance in 25 matches with four goals and eight assists.

As Wirtz is contractually committed to Leverkusen until the summer of 2027, the German club is not immediately obligated to terminate his employment.
