The 17-year-old attacker from Palmeiras, who will sign with Real Madrid in the summer, has been included to the Brazil team for their World Cup qualifying match against Argentina and Colombia later this month.

Manchester United’s Casemiro is out due to a hamstring injury, but Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been included to the squad despite missing his team’s three games due to injury.

Due to a recent operation for a damaged anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, Neymar is not available.

On November 16, Brazil takes on Colombia at Barranquilla. Five days later, on November 17, Brazil hosts the world champions at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.

With 12 points, Argentina is in the lead in South American qualifying. After losing 2-0 at Uruguay and drawing at home with Venezuela last month, Brazil is currently in third place with seven points. There is pressure on head coach Fernando Diniz to stay in the position through June, when it is anticipated Carlo Ancelotti will take over.
