The Red Devils star, Marcus Rashford was traveling to Denmark with a teenager who had never been on a plane before.
Rashford, who is 26 years old, made news when he went to his birthday party after the Manchester derby loss.
The next day, he missed Fulham’s 1-0 win on Saturday because he failed a late fitness test because he hurt his leg in training.
But United fans got good news while he was on his way to tomorrow night’s important Champions League game.
Rashford smiled as he walked onto the plane at Manchester Airport this morning. He was wearing a dark cap, a white t-shirt, and a smart blue Paul Smith team suit.
And boss Erik ten Hag said the No. 10 is once again in the running to play against the Danish champions.
The Dutch player told the reporters at Parken Stadium, “100% ready.” Rashy missed one game because of a small injury.
This season, Rashford has only scored once in 14 games for Manchester United. It was a beautiful goal against Arsenal on September 3.
But Ten Hag pushed his star forward, thinking that he would soon end his streak of bad luck.
Also, “Marcus is very committed to Manchester United,” he said. Being in shape again takes a lot of hard work.
Victor Lindelof went, too, even though he missed the win at Craven Cottage, which was Ten Hag’s 50th as United boss in a record amount of time.
The attacker Omari Forson, who is only 16, was a surprise addition to the 23-person traveling team that went to Copenhagen.
Forson, an England young international who is 19 years old, played ahead of the season with the Red Devils this summer, but he hasn’t played for the first team yet.
The Under-19s and the first team both got on the same flight. Tomorrow afternoon, the Under-19s play Copenhagen U19 in the Uefa Youth League.
