The ‘Life is Good’ rapper Future purchases an open-bathroom oceanfront villa for $16.3m

As Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn puts it, the future is a marvelous age. In September, the Atlanta-born, Grammy-winning, 38-year-old hip-hop singer/songwriter divested investment firm Influence Media Partners for the rights to more than 600 titles in his publishing catalog for an agreement estimated to be in the “high eight figures.” On the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack, he will work in tandem with Rihanna.

Likewise, future real estate is excellent. According to The Real Deal, he paid French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale $16.3 million for an almost-new property overlooking the waterfront on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island. In 2020, the Ouazanas acquired the property for $12.5 million, which included a parcel adjacent to it that had been sold to developers.

The site of Future’s 2020 excavations is a quarter-acre lot with a gate. Palm trees encircle the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence featuring an approximate 8,000-square-foot living space, lofty ceilings, glass walls, and seamless indoor-outdoor living areas. Among the opulent amenities are a rooftop patio, an elevator, a detached guesthouse, staff accommodations, and a three-car garage.

Highlights also include a spacious great room with separate living and dining areas, as well as a modern kitchen featuring custom Ornare cabinetry, an elongated eat-in island, and premium stainless steel appliances.

A balcony, dual walk-in wardrobes, a seating area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, and a luxurious bathroom featuring dual vanities, a large glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub are all features of the master bedroom located upstairs.

The resort-like premises include an elevated spa, an infinity-edge swimming pool, a kitchen-equipped open-air pavilion, and an abundance of outdoor seating and gathering areas. A luxury vessel can be accommodated in the port, which features a 75-foot water frontage.
