Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku, who were spotted running on the turf at Cobham today, are showing signs of improvement in their recuperation from injuries, which will excite Chelsea supporters everywhere.
After sustaining injuries in the summer, the two—who arrived from RB Leipzig and Southampton, respectively—have not yet played for the Blues this season. However, head coach Mauricio Pochettino has stated that they are getting closer to playing again.
Our head coach is encouraged to see the two running on the grass today, and he added that Nkunku and Lavia might perhaps participate in team practice the following week.
The match against Manchester City on Sunday is too soon for the two, but on Friday, Cobham was the scene of photos featuring players like Malo Gusto, Nicolas Jackson, and Reece James.
Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, who were also involved, are hoping to play against their old team on Sunday.
