The Dutchman is under pressure at Old Trafford following Manchester United’s nine-defeat start to the season across all competitions.

Given that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is planning to acquire a 25% stake in the club, a comprehensive investigation into Ten Hag and his coaching staff is anticipated.

The Dutchman’s contract has 18 months remaining; if performance does not improve, he may be subject to increasing pressure.

However, Ten Hag is already under significant pressure, and the opportunity to lead United continues to be an incredibly alluring position for managers worldwide.

Ten Hag is in the final 18 months of his contract.

As reported by ESPN, a meeting between United and the representatives of an unappointed manager was recently canceled out of concern that the meeting would be exploited to promote their client as Ten Hag’s replacement.

United are currently committed to Ten Hag and do not wish for any distractions in their effort to restore the club’s form.

The club is optimistic that their recent struggles have marked a turning point.

United have won four of their last five Premier League matches, and despite falling to Copenhagen, their effort prior to Marcus Rashford’s dismissal was encouraging.
