United has withdrawn from Denmark’s matches against Slovenia on Friday and Northern Ireland on the following Monday, with Eriksen’s knee injury relegating him to inconsequential until the middle of December.

Hojlund’s muscle strain appears to have diminished in severity, and although he will likely miss United’s November 26 travel to Everton, the club are optimistic that their summer acquisition will be fit to play Galatasaray in the Champions League three days later.
