Two M.U. players are members of the most expensive U21 squad in the Premier League, according to Transfermarkt: Rasmus Hojlund (65 million euros) and Alejandro Garnacho (25 million euros).

Rasmus Hojlund enrolled with M.U. in July of last year for a transfer fee of up to 75 million euros plus post-payment options totaling approximately 10 million euros. This is an exorbitant transfer fee for a 20-year-old athlete such as Hojlund.

However, the fact that Rasmus Hojlund has become an indispensable player for Atalanta at the age of 20 is commendable of his aptitude. Furthermore, Hojlund accomplished a hat-trick in March 2023 during a 3-1 triumph over Finland in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying round.
