Chelsea now considering replacing Victor Osimhen with a £26 million starboy

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues are reportedly considering signing Club Brugge starlet Antonio Nusa replace superstar striker target Victor Osimhen.

Nusa was connected with a move to Stamford Bridge late in the summer transfer season, with a figure of roughly £26 million being negotiated.

The teenager even came out and said that Chelsea had offered him a lot of money to transfer to the Premier League, but that money should not be the motive for his next big move.

It has also been stated that a deadline-day deal for the winger would be significantly reliant on them collecting money through player sales in the final hours of the window. Despite efforts to sell people like Ian Maatsen, this did not materialize.

Nusa has piqued Chelsea’s interest.

The club is still interested in a prospective move, according to reports, as they shuffle through their transfer targets in order to improve their attacking depth.

On paper, it appears like the club is desperate for an out-and-out striker, despite the fact that they have scored eight goals in their previous two games against Tottenham and Manchester City.

This would lead them down the path of considering a player like Osimhen, who is likely to quit the club following their maltreatment of him.

Many observers believe Chelsea are the favorites to sign the striker, but it will almost certainly cost another club record sum.

This could lead them to search for someone like Ivan Toney, who has recently been reported to be available for a more reasonable fee when the window opens in January.
