With our preview of November’s international fixtures, you can determine when and where Liverpool’s senior squad will represent their countries this month.
In South America, Reds comrades will once more be pitted against one another in World Cup qualifying.
On November 16, Luis Diaz will be a member of the Colombia squad that hosts a qualifying match against Alisson Becker’s Brazil in Barranquilla. The following day, on November 21, the team will travel to Asuncion to face Paraguay.
On November 21, Alisson and the Selecao will travel to the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro to face Alexis MacAllister of Liverpool and rivals Argentina.
Mac Allister will also be a member of the Argentina squad that plays Uruguay, led by Darwin Nunez, on November 16 in Buenos Aires. On November 21, Nunez’s country travels to Montevideo to face Bolivia.
Mohamed Salah participates in two World Cup qualifying matches for Egypt. The Pharaohs will travel to Sierra Leone on November 19 after hosting Djibouti in Cairo on November 16.
Additionally, in the preliminaries for 2026, Japan’s relations with Myanmar (16 November) and Syria (21 November) will be led by Wataru Endo. The location of the latter match is Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Diogo Jota has been summoned up by Portugal for Euro 2024 qualifying. They will travel to Liechtenstein on November 16 and then host Iceland on November 19 in an effort to complete qualification with a perfect record.
Hungary is scheduled to be captained by Dominik Szoboszlai in their Euro qualifiers. Prior to hosting Montenegro on November 19, Szoboszlai’s side travels to Bulgaria on November 16. An appearance at the tournament the following summer is assured for those who succeed in both.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been selected for the qualifying fixtures for England. The team captained by Gareth Southgate, who have already secured a spot in the finals, will travel to North Macedonia on November 20 after hosting Malta at Wembley on November 17.
Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo have been named to the Netherlands squad for their crucial qualifying matches against Caoimhin Kelleher’s Republic of Ireland on November 18 in Amsterdam and away at Gibraltar on November 21, respectively.
The following day, on November 21, Kelleher and company play New Zealand in a friendly in Dublin.
Following two assists against Brentford on Sunday, Kostas Tsimikas will be a member of the Greece squad vying for qualification ahead of the Dutch. Prior to a crucial match against France in Athens on November 21, they will first face a friendly against New Zealand on November 17.
Harvey Elliott, Jarell Quansah, and Tyler Morton, who is on loan, are all members of the England U21 squad that will face Serbia (November 18) and Northern Ireland (November 21) in U21 Euro qualifiers.
Luke Chambers is a member of the U20 squad that will travel to Germany on November 20 after hosting Italy on November 16. In contrast, Calum Scanlon is a member of an U19 squad that will travel to Marbella for three matches: November 15 against Romania, November 18 against Japan, and November 21 against Mexico.
Ahead of their U21 Euro qualifiers against Belgium (17 November) and Hungary (21 November), Ben Doak will travel with the Scotland U21 squad. In contrast, goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga has been called up by the Brazil U23s for a training exercise.
