Chelsea are currently keen on £26m starboy instead of Victor Osimhen

The Evening Standard says that the Blues are now thinking about making a move to sign Antonio Nusa, a star player for Club Brugge,  replace superstar striker target Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea 'make £26m transfer bid for Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa, 18, in shock deadline day swoop' | The Sun

Late in the summer transfer window, Nusa was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. A fee of around £26m was being talked about as a possible fee.

There was even public talk from the youth that Chelsea had offered him a lot of money to move to the Premier League. But he didn’t want money to be the reason for his next big move.

People have also said that a late-night deal for the winger would depend on them selling other players in the last few hours of the window to make some money. Even though people like Ian Maatsen tried to sell, this did not happen.

Chelsea is interested in Nusa

Now, it’s been said that the club is still interested in a possible deal as they move their trade targets around to improve their attack.

The club really wants a scorer, even though they scored eight goals in their last two games against Tottenham and Manchester City.

This would make them more likely to look at a player like Osimhen, who is likely to leave the club because of how badly they treated him.

A lot of experts think that Chelsea will be able to get the player, but it will cost a club-record amount of money.

It has been said recently that Ivan Toney might be available for a more reasonable price when the window opens in January. This could make them look at someone else, like Toney.
