According to listing agent Andrew Mortaza of The Agency, Michael B. Jordan, star of “Creed,” is putting his Los Angeles home on the market for $12.995 million. The “Creed” star paid nearly $500,000 to improve the property’s security and air conditioning systems after purchasing it in May 2022.
The eight-bedroom, nearly 12,300 square foot mansion is located in Encino’s exclusive Royal Estates area, according to Mr. Mortaza and his colleague Bryan Castaneda, who are listed on the property.
In May 2022, Mr. Jordan paid $12.51 million for the house and invested approximately $500,000 in improving the air conditioning and security systems.
The mansion, which was completed in 2021, features a gym with a hot tub, a home cinema with a snack bar, a glass-enclosed wine room, and an elevator. The main bedroom suite has two extra-large walk-in closets. That, according to him, is the biggest “wow” factor for visitors.
The nearly half-acre property also includes a two-story guesthouse, a separate massage room, a pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a cabana with a fireplace, according to Mr. Mortaza. He claimed to be perplexed by Mr. Jordan’s motivation for selling.
Mr. Jordan, who starred in the “Creed” and “Black Panther” films, will appear in “Creed III,” which he will also direct, later this year. He also contributed to the formation of the marketing firm Obsidianworks.
According to Redfin, the median sale price in Encino in November was around $1.18 million, a 6.2% decrease from the same month in 2021.
