Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai scored an incredible solo goal similar to those of Lionel Messi.

Szoboszlai has had an impressive start at Liverpool after joining with a £60 million contract from RB Leipzig last summer. The 23-year-old midfielder has become a fan favorite thanks to his energetic displays and ability to score spectacular goals.

Szoboszlai showed that ability again when he joined the Hungarian national team. He scored 2 goals to help the home team come back in a 3-1 victory over Montenegro in Budapest. Most notable was the first goal.

After receiving the ball on the right wing, Szoboszlai rushed inside and passed a series of Montenegrin defenders in the penalty area with excellent technique and speed. The Hungarian national team captain then fired an unstoppable shot past Montenegro goalkeeper Milan Mijatovic, equalizing the home team.

Witnessing Szoboszlai’s impressive goal, many fans could not hide their admiration. One person wrote: “A really quality goal. So wonderful.”

Another commented: “Szoboszlai’s speed and technique are truly perfect.” While another person affirmed: “Perhaps Messi must also admire Szoboszlai’s goal.”

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp once admitted that he was shocked by the speed of Szoboszlai’s adaptation to English football. “I was quite surprised with the speed of his integration,” Klopp said in September. “A classy player with a lot of qualities.”

Liverpool will march to Etihad Stadium to face top team Man City in round 13 of the Premier League next Saturday. And Szoboszlai’s high form will be a fulcrum for The Kop fans.
