If Chelsea waits until next summer, they could be able to recruit Victor Osimhen for less than Napoli’s current asking price.

Chelsea is presently considering adding a new striker, and one player they are interested in is Victor Osimhen.

Jacobs claims that Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of Napoli, has consistently desired Osimhen to fetch either €150 million (£131 million) or €160 million (£140 million).

The journalist has informed GiveMeSport, nevertheless, that because the Nigerian’s contract is expiring, the amount would probably be closer to £100 million during the summer transfer window.

Osimhen, who moved from Lille to Napoli back in 2020, will be available for free in 2025.

The 22-year-old might be Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea’s solution if he can maintain his current level of performance.

If not, though, the club will most likely need to go out and purchase someone akin to Osimhen.
