Internationals: Nunez with a brace, goals for Tyler Morton, Cody Gakpo, Harvey Elliott

Tuesday’s 3-0 victory over Northern Ireland for the England U21s featured a masterful double from Harvey Elliott.

In the Young Lions’ U21 European Championship qualifying match, Elliott first scored for the team with a curling free kick in the second half, then added another goal with a dinked finish late in the game. Tyler Morton had opened the scoring for the Young Lions.

In other news, the Netherlands defeated Gibraltar 6-0 to complete their qualification for Euro 2024, with Cody Gakpo contributing to their victory.

After Virgil van Dijk played the first half, the attacker entered the game in the 77th minute and promptly finished the score.

In addition, Uruguay triumphs once more as a result of Darwin Nuñez’s two goals, which help his team defeat Bolivia 3-0.
