Yo Gotti is putting his Los Angeles home on the market again, less than a year after purchasing an exquisite hilltop mansion. The “Recession Proof” rapper’s 3-acre property is tucked away within a guard-gated community in Westlake Village, approximately one hour northwest of Downtown Los Angeles by car. It is fully landscaped and boasts numerous amenities, including a Tuscan-style mansion, two pools, rose gardens, and a full-size tennis court, to name a few.
Gotti, born Mario Mims and a longtime Memphis resident, has worked in the music industry his entire life, but his 2016 album “The Art of Hustle,” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart, may have been the first to bring him widespread fame and mainstream success. The following year, his single “Rake It Up” featuring Nicki Minaj peaked at number ten on the Hot 100 singles chart. Gotti is also a successful record executive; the 41-year-old is the CEO and owner of Nashville’s Collective Music Group (CMG).
Villa Forza in Westlake Village is being listed for exactly $1 million more than Gotti paid for it in May. The sprawling property, built in the late 1990s, has nearly 10,000 square feet of living area on a single level and overlooks the golf course at the elite North Ranch Country Club.
The interiors of the house are undeniably magnificent. The double entrance doors are made of glass and metal and lead to a magnificent foyer with a big skylight and views that continue across the backyard and beyond the undulating hills. There is a family room attached to the chef’s kitchen, as well as six guest/family chambers, in addition to a living room with a fireplace and a library. The master suite boasts two bathrooms, two closets, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi; other features include a home gym, an executive office, and a formal dining room.
The groomed boxwood and rose gardens, huge palm trees, and peaceful fountains on the property’s exterior absolutely shine. There are several terraces for al fresco dining and entertaining, as well as a reflecting pool and a separate infinity-edge swimming pool with views of the canyon.
