Rihanna is making space for her growing family. The singer—she is currently expecting her second child—just sold her longtime Century City residence to purchase a spacious $21 million penthouse in the same beloved celebrity building.
Dirt claims that the mogul has already moved out of her 3,500 square foot, three-bedroom apartment at the Century and into a 9,290 square foot residence in the sky.
The pop diva was sold the pad by Afterpay dealer and entrepreneur Nick Molnar, according to sources. Molnar first listed the property for $28 million after nearly two years of ownership. But all he paid to purchase the apartment from actor Matthew Perry was $21.6 million.
The circular house has enormous floor to ceiling windows that offer sweeping city vistas all around it. Additional attractions include four outside patios, a large living area, and a contemporary kitchen.
The 42-story building is known for being a “paparazzi-proof” hideaway for California’s affluent and famous. It has a fitness center, a swimming pool that is 75 feet in length, and a 24-hour concierge service.
The building has been occupied by Paula Abdul, Terry Dubrow, Denzel Washington, and Nobu Matsuhisa. Actually, Candy Spelling lives right above Rihanna’s new home in a roomy two-story penthouse.
