Training photos: Manchester United charging up at Carrington for Everton clash

Manchester United will hope to have Luke Shaw available for Sunday’s trip to Goodison Park to face Everton.

The England defender returned to training this week after missing the previous two months owing to a muscular injury.

If he is fit enough to play, the long-serving Red might play left-back or in the midst of the back four.

Lisandro Martinez was seen watching the session but is still a long way from making a comeback.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was among those training at Carrington on Wednesday morning, having missed the win over Luton Town owing to illness.

Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, and Rasmus Hojlund all missed Cameroon’s second World Cup qualifier against Libya due to injuries, while Andre Onana was forced off in the 3-0 win over Mauritius.

Facundo Pellistri was replaced after falling awkwardly during Uruguay’s 3-0 victory over Bolivia.

Casemiro is clearly still out, but Amad has been making progress in his recovery.

Let’s look at some photos from Manchester United’s training session.
