Manchester United may be missing Facundo Pellistri for Sunday’s game against Everton due to an injury received while on international duty.
During the break, when Marcelo Bielsa’s team defeated Argentina and Bolivia, the Uruguayan started twice for his country.
Pellistri had two assists in the win over Argentina and has won Bielsa over with his enthusiastic performances.
Though the 21-year-old has yet to establish himself as a regular starter at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag has gradually increased his game time.
With Antony struggling and Jadon Sancho on the bench, the right-wing position is open for grabs.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Pellistri suffered an injury while on international duty and is unlikely to heal in time to face Everton.
It’s another absentee for United, who might be missing up to nine first-team players for the trip to Goodison Park.
Andre Onana is questionable due to a back injury, while Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo, and Tyrell Malacia are out indefinitely.
Christian Eriksen is out for a month, and Rasmus Hojlund is out with a hamstring strain. Jonny Evans is also unavailable.
