When it comes to expensive birthday gifts, Offset leaves no stone left. The Migos rapper has previously given his wife Cardi B “the biggest diamonds you could get” — a $1 million heart-shaped diamond engagement ring and matching band, to be exact — followed by a $330,000-plus Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. What is left? Aside from all of the glitz, the Grammy-winning singer now has a magnificent Caribbean holiday property.
According to the New York Post, Offset surprised Cardi B on her 29th birthday with a $1.5 million investment property in the Dominican Republic. The West Indies rental property has been in the works for quite some time, according to a recent post on the “Bodak Yellow” singer’s Instagram account: “I’ve been telling [Offset] for a long time that I want to invest in short-term home rental properties in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries, but I got the impression he disagreed and would rather put money into other investments.” Well, I was wrong.”
The four-story contemporary home is set on a 4-acre hillside parcel near the coast in a guard-gated enclave in Las Terrenas, a northeastern resort town. It is 7,000 square feet in size and has six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
There’s also a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom studio with a kitchen and living area, as well as two pools — one infinity pool with chaise lounges on the roof and a smaller lap pool directly outside one of the bedrooms. Stunning coastal and tropical vistas are also framed by numerous terraces and walls of windows.
The residence, made of wood, stone, rusted steel, and raw concrete, is currently offered for $836 per night on Airbnb. There is a fitness center, a private garden, and a covered outside eating area with a BBQ, in addition to an Italian kitchen with a wine fridge, an eat-in island, and an adjacent dining room.
Homeowners also have access to three tennis courts, a helicopter, two swimming pools, a golf shuttle service, and private beach access. The nicest thing is that you can tell everyone that Cardi B is your landlord.
