The midfielder is yet to score for Erik ten Hag’s team and has only registered one assist in all competitions while adjusting to life at Old Trafford.

Throughout the season, the 24-year-old has dealt with a number of injuries, missing six games for the Red Devils. Unfortunately, as Manchester United returns to action following the international break, Ten Hag is again without one of his important recruits.

According to The Mirror, Mount’s newest setback is a calf ailment, which has placed doubt on his availability for several weeks, with expectations of missing the next month.

His absence is confirmed for the match against Everton as well as the key Champions League match against Galatasaray, both of which are critical to United’s campaign comeback.

As a result, without Mount, United confronts difficult matches against top-four rivals Newcastle and a resurgent Chelsea.

According to SofaScore, the English international has only started four Premier League games for the Red Devils and has averaged only 51 minutes per game, emphasizing his poor start at his new club, where he has yet to score or register an assist.
