Man United offered chance to sign Wolves’ £60M playmaker

According to an exclusive TEAMtalk report, Manchester United and Arsenal have made bids to sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker.

However, the news source indicated that, for the time being, the Gunners have pushed ahead in the race to sign the 23-year-old winger.

Neto’s current deal with Wolves expires in the summer of 2027, and according to the report, a cost of at least £60 million would be required to obtain his signature.

Manchester United’s wingers have been terrible this season. Prior to his outburst on Ten Hag, Sancho appeared in three league games and did not score a single goal.

Antony, a big money transfer from last summer, has failed to score in the Premier League (9 games); similarly, Garnacho has played in 10 league games and has not scored.

Neto has been in superb form for Wolves. The pacy attacker has directly contributed to 8 goals (1 goal and 7 assists) in 10 league appearances.

Back in September, he was named Man of the Match against Manchester City and then provided assists in the following three games against Villa, Bournemouth, and Newcastle.

Unfortunately, he has missed the last two Premier League games owing to a hamstring injury and will be unavailable for the match against Fulham on Monday night.
