Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool winger, has revealed that he would love to play alongside Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Mohamed Salah has named three ideal teammates.
Both players will go down in history as two of the Premier League’s greatest-ever players, having made huge contributions to City’s and Liverpool’s dominance in recent seasons. Both are well-known for their goals, assists, and overall abilities.
They have scored 213 Premier League goals between them and have won six Premier League titles between them. Both players are gifted, with abilities ranging from speed to precise passing.
And for Salah, who assisted Liverpool’s equalizer against City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, De Bruyne, who has been out with a hamstring injury since August, is one of three players he would like to play alongside. He has also stated that he would like to meet Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
“Messi or Ronaldo, but in the Premier League, I’d pick Kevin,” Salah told Sky Sports. “He has vision, and I’m sure he can find me anywhere with the ball, so Messi, Ronaldo, and Kevin.”
“He’s a fantastic player, and the entire team (City) is fantastic.” But I just try to focus on my game and not on anything else.”
De Bruyne, who has four goals and eight assists versus Liverpool in his career, has not played since City’s 3-0 triumph over Burnley on the season’s opening night. He was substituted after 23 minutes, depriving Pep Guardiola of his key architect.
De Bruyne provided an update on his recuperation at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, saying, “It’s going well (his recovery), it’s getting along.” I still have more work to do, but we’re getting there. If all goes well, I hope to have something soon after the New Year.”
