Following that, Kepa was given an opportunity when Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois suffered a long-term, potentially season-ending injury. The Spaniard was signed on loan by the Spanish giants, with the 29-year-old Chelsea player already eager to cut his pay to join them permanently.

Whether that is also on Real Madrid’s mind is unknown, but reports claim that Carlo Ancelotti’s side are unwilling to overpay for the 29-year-old. According to reports, they are only willing to spend roughly €10 million or slightly more for the Chelsea player, which may annoy the Blues.
