The Brazilian midfielder is ready to quit the Red Devils in next summer

After joining Man United in 2022, Casemiro spent his one season there before moving to Real Madrid.

During his first season with the team, the Brazilian left a lasting impact, with seven goals and seven assists in 52 competitive games.

The midfielder was instrumental in the Red Devils’ top-four finish and EFL Cup victory, the team’s first championship in seven years.

But once some of his performances were questioned, Casemiro had a much more difficult second season.

The former Real Madrid player appeared in 12 games across all competitions before suffering a few injuries that kept him out of action.

Football Insider is claiming that Man United will approve a sale of Casemiro in 2024, despite the fact that he still has more than two years left on his contract.

Although it seems most likely that Casemiro will leave in the summer, he has been linked to a move during the January transfer window.

The Brazil international is attracting interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, who should have the financial means to cover both his large salary—which is said to be more than £300,000 per week—and the transfer cost.

The 31-year-old is focused on getting better right now after suffering a hamstring injury earlier this month.

On November 1, Casemiro made a comeback from an ankle injury to start Man United’s EFL Cup loss against Newcastle United.

But he had to leave the game against the Magpies at halftime due to a hamstring problem, which is likely to keep him sidelined until the new year.
