Casemiro is expected to quit Manchester United next summer

Casemiro is presently in his second season with Manchester United after joining from Real Madrid in 2022.

The Brazilian had an immediate impact in his first season with the club, contributing seven goals and seven assists in 52 competitive games.

The midfielder helped the Red Devils finish in the top four and win the EFL Cup for the first time in seven years.

Casemiro, on the other hand, has had a much more difficult second season when several of his performances were called into question.

The former Real Madrid man appeared in 12 games across all competitions before being sidelined due to a couple of injuries.

Despite the fact that Casemiro has more than two years left on his contract, Football Insider reports that Manchester United will authorize a sale in 2024.

According to the source, Manchester United are willing to let him leave next summer, and the player is also willing to leave at the conclusion of the season.

While a summer exit appears to be the most likely scenario, Casemiro has been linked with a January move away.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro League are interested in the Brazil international, and they should be able to afford his transfer price as well as his big income, which is said to be in excess of £300,000 each week.

Currently, the 31-year-old is focusing on his recovery from a hamstring injury suffered earlier this month.

Casemiro returned to start Man United’s EFL Cup defeat against Newcastle United on November 1 after recovering from an ankle injury.

However, he was pulled off at halftime against the Magpies due to a hamstring injury, which will keep him out until the new year.
