Mo Salah responded pricelessly to the inundation of shirt demands that followed Liverpool’s Europa League victory against LASK,4-0.
The Austrian team was soundly defeated by the Reds, and Salah scored Liverpool’s 199th goal from the penalty spot.
Luis Diaz hit the mark as well, while Cody Gakpo got himself a brace.
Just minutes after converting his penalty, Trent Alexander-Arnold replaced Salah, as Jurgen Klopp was considering the match against Fulham this coming weekend.
When the game came to an end, he returned to the field, and the LASK players were eager to have his shirt as a souvenir.
21-year-old Moses Usor went right to Salah, who was pleased to comply, because he was so keen to get his hands on the Egyptian’s shirt.
But a different LASK player approached Salah to ask questions as he was taking off his shirt. Salah displayed his class once more, even though he arrived at the gathering too late. The former Chelsea player reportedly said to him, “I’ll give you a second one inside,” according to a beIN Sports tape.
The defender, who had probably been waiting for his memento in the tunnel, was then embraced by Salah.
With one match remaining, Liverpool secured their place in the round of 16 and the 31-year-old was named captain for the match.
It followed a shocking Europa League defeat to Toulouse the last time around.
Liverpool’s No. 11 saw no downtime, and a former Reds attacker thinks Salah has a type of deal to play in every game.
Salah has participated in every Liverpool match this season, with the exception of Leicester City’s 3-1 Carabao Cup victory.
With 19 games throughout all competitions, he scored 13 goals.
