Timaya, real name Inetimi Alfred Odon, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer. Timaya was born on August 15, 1980, and is best known for his Afrobeat, Dancehall, and Afropop music.
Timaya’s musical career began in the early 2000s with the release of hits such as “Dem Mama” and “Plantain Boy,” which helped build his status in Nigeria’s music business. He has been nominated and won numerous prestigious music awards, including “Artiste of the Year” at the Headies.
