From the third round to the quarter-finals, United cruised over Everton, Reading, West Ham, and Fulham before defeating Brighton in the semi-final at Wembley, with rivals Manchester City taking the cup in the final.
Before defeating Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final last season, United was drawn at home in every round.
United had a similar start to the season, beating Crystal Palace at home in the Carabao Cup third round before being knocked out the next round by the Magpies.
They broke Shrewsbury Town’s previous record of 11 consecutive home cup ties, which they set between 2017 and 2019.
United’s record of drawing 12 consecutive home games was 4,096/1.
They must now defeat Wigan on the first weekend of January to begin a new home record run.
