Tottenham stopped their losing streak at the Etihad with a spectacular late header from Dejan Kulusevski in a frantic 3-3 draw.
Kulusevski’s header saved a point after Spurs appeared to have thrown the game away. Minutes earlier, Yves Bissouma’s error led to a goal by Jack Grealish that appeared to seal the game for the home team.
The visitors were weakened by injury but remained committed to Ange Postecoglou’s aggressive, front-foot approach. They seized the lead in the first half thanks to a well-worked break goal by Son Heung-min, but defensive issues soon arose.
City had several chances in the first half, with Jeremy Doku and Julian Alvarez hitting the crossbar, but went into the halftime break ahead. Within two minutes of Son’s first goal, an own goal leveled the game before City completed an intricate move for Phil Foden to put them ahead.
Tottenham battled their way back into the game in the second half and rightfully equalized through Giovanni Lo Celso. The game was interrupted in injury time after Jack Grealish appeared to be through on goal, but the game was stopped for an earlier foul on Erling Haaland.
